Transmit CTCSS/DCS
encode setting.
OFF: Turn off CTCSS/DCS encode.
Press and hold channel selector knob to
confirm and exit.
This function is optional.
When PD function is on, the following menus are hiding. When PD function is off, the
following menus appear.
5 A/FM XXX Mode setting.
FM: Turn on FM mode.
AM: Turn on AM mode.
6 NB XXX
NB/ANL function
setting.
OFF: Turn off NB/ANL function.
ON: Turn on NB/ANL function.
7 HIC XXX
HI-CUT function
setting.
OFF: Turn off HI-CUT function.
ON: Turn on HI-CUT function.
8 RB XXX RB function setting.
OFF-5: Total 6 groups available.
OFF: Turn off RB function.
9 BUSY XXX
Busy channel lockout
(BCL).
OFF: Turn off BCL function.
ON: Turn on BCL function.
10 BOT XXX Call setting.
OFF: When press [PTT] will nor transmit
DTMF code.
1~16: Press [PTT] to transmit DTMF
code.
11 EOT XXX Call setting.
OFF: Release [PTT] will not transmit
DTMF code.
1~16: Release [PTT] to transmit DTMF
code.
12 CAL XXX Call setting.
OFF: When press [CALL] key will not
transmit DTMF code.
1~16: Press [CALL] key to transmit
DTMF code.
Notes:
- Only when current channel has programmed DTMF code, the Call setting works.
- Refer to DTMF setting menu.

How to enter DTMF encode setting:
1. Press and hold [FUNC] key to enter main menu.
2. Press [F4], [F6] key or turn channel selector knob to move cursor and choose
setting menu. Press [F5] key can fast turn page.
3. Press channel selector knob to enter DTMF menu.
4. Press [F4], [F6] key or turn channel selector knob to move cursor and choose
wanted setting.
1. DTMF: Encode setting.
1. Enter DTMF menu and choose no. 1 menu.
2. Press channel selector knob to enter setting function, the chosen value in LCD will
turn to green color.
3. Turn channel selector knob to choose setting.
