2.1 Risks to which the operator is exposed
The working process with the described equipment exposes the operator to the
following risky situations:
• Corrosive and / or inammable substances manipulation.
• Sample manipulation which can be radioactive, toxic or potentially infectious.
• Glass pieces manipulation.
• Electric risk.
2.2 Staff qualication
This equipment can only be used by staff qualied in knowing dangers exposed in
chemical analysis laboratories.
This equipment can only be used by conveniently trained staff who have read the
instruction manual or have been qualied in the use of this equipment.
2.3 Equipment use
This equipment is expected to be used in clinical, pharmaceutical and biochemical
laboratories.
The use of this equipment in a way not indicated in this manual can commit the
protection guaranteed by the equipment.
This equipment is NOT prepared to work in explosive atmospheres.
2.4 Modications
The modication of the equipment safety systems operation or manipulation by
personnel not authorized by the manufacturer can expose the operator to risks not
foreseen in this manual.
Eyes protection use compulsory
It is compulsory the use of safety glasses or complete facial protection to do the
described operation.
A recommended model is indicated in the «1.2 Accessories» section.

equipment.
• Important information to lengthen the equipment life or to avoid the degradation
of any of its components.
