Set Guard Zones

A fan-shape
guard
zone
can be set up
to keep a watch over the intrusion
of other ships
or targets,
or
to
automatically acquire other
ships that have intruded into the zone.
By left
clicking
the
"G21,
2" section on
the
screen,
it is
possible
to
set on or ofi.
In this
case, the zone that
was set the
previous
time will be turned on.

Guard
Zones I or 2 can
be set
in any area within
a
range of
0.5 to 32
NM.
Use the
IVRMI
and
[EBL]
knobs to
place
VRM and
EBL
over
the starting
point
of the
guard
zone, then
left
click
the
cursor.
The starting
point
of the
guard
zone
will
be set.
Move the EBL to make fan-shaped zone enclosed by the
current cross cursor
position.
Left+lick
when
a desired
guard
zone is made.
The
shape of the
guard
zone will
be set up.
(The
width of a
guard
zone is fixed to 0.5NM).
