Connect the module using USB, RS232, or RS485 interface.
Wear electrostatic protection (gloves/bracelet) before testing.
Bare module operates at DC 3.3V; RS232/RS485 interfaces use DC 5-32V.
Open JRT software, select correct serial port and set baud rate to 19200.
Click 'Open Port' in the software; the module should emit a slight light.
Click 'Laser On' to activate the laser beam emission.
Initiate measurement or tracking by clicking 'Measure' or 'Start Tracking'.
Stop the measurement process by clicking 'Stop Tracking'.
Close the serial port and power off the module after completing tests.
Connect the Geshe Beacon module using a USB cable.
Install the Geshe Beacon software by running the provided executable file.
Open Geshe Beacon, select COM port, baud rate 19200, and HEX mode.
Click 'Open Port' in Geshe Beacon software; observe a slight module brightness.
Activate the laser by clicking 'Laser On'; expect a 'C1' response.
Click '1shot Auto'/'Cntinus Auto' and use specific data bytes for distance calculation.
Terminate the continuous measurement session by clicking 'Cntinus Exit'.
Turn off the laser, close the port, and power down the module post-testing.
Successful connection is indicated by normal measurement distance reception.
