4. USING YOUR HAND PUMP
STEP 1: Attach to pressure vessel
STEP 2: Ensure the bleed valve has been tightened
STEP 3: Place a foot on each base plate and position yourself
comfortably and balanced
STEP 4: Pull handle vertically applying long steady strokes.
Keeping back straight and exing your knees will help maintain
balance.
STEP 5: The pump will require more force as the pressure
builds. Do not exceed 3000 psi!
STEP 6: The pump will generate heat during the lling process.
If the heat becomes uncomfortable, stop and allow the pump to
cool
STEP 7: After completeing the lling process and before you
disconnect the hose, loosen the bleed valve to release and
stored pressure
WARNING: BEFORE REMOVING FILLING HOSE, ALWAYS BLEED THE AIR FROM
THE HOSE USING THE BLEED VALVE ON THE PUMP. NOT DOING SO CAN RESULT
IN THE HOSE WHIPPING AROUND, WHICH CAN CAUSE INJURY OR PROPERTY
DAMAGE.
