Overview

The Future Call Talking Caller ID Box with Call Blocking FC-0215 is a device designed to manage incoming calls, provide caller ID information, and offer call blocking capabilities.

Function Description:

The device supports FSK single data and compound data (TYPEI, TYPEII), making it compatible with receiving both data types and incorporating a call waiting function. Its LCD can display 13 digits and 11 numbers, and it operates in two languages: English (default) and Spanish.

Key caller ID functions include:

  • Support for call back for incoming numbers in the US.
  • Deletion of incoming call records and a full deletion function for all records.
  • Reviewing incoming call records, including a quick review function.
  • Storage for up to 99 groups of incoming calls.
  • Storage for up to 50 groups of white-list numbers, with name recording capabilities.
  • The ability to audibly announce the name or number of incoming calls.
  • LCD icon indications for new incoming calls, voice mail, low battery, AM-PM, RPT (repeated call), and VIP (white-list) calls.

The device uses a DTMF dialing system. It features an 8-second backlight for ringing, key operations, and phone pick-up/hang-up, which turns off after 8 seconds of inactivity. A 12-hour real-time clock displays month and day (not year) and has a setting function. The LCD contrast is adjustable with 5 levels, with the 4th level set as default. The device also saves information when power is lost by entering STOP mode, preventing data loss. For white-list calls with name recordings, the device can announce names 0-5 times; setting it to "0" silences the speaker for names and numbers. Calls not on the white-list will only announce numbers if the block function is OFF.

Important Safety Instructions:

Before use, users should read and understand all instructions and follow all warnings. The product should be unplugged from the wall outlet before cleaning and cleaned with a damp cloth, avoiding liquid or aerosol cleaners. It should not be used near water (e.g., bathtubs, sinks, pools) or placed on unstable surfaces. Ventilation slots must not be blocked to prevent overheating. The device should only be operated from the specified power source. The power cord should not be abused or overloaded. Objects should not be pushed into cabinet slots, and liquids should not be spilled on the product. Disassembly is not recommended; repairs should be performed by qualified service technicians. The product should be unplugged and referred to service personnel if the power cord is damaged, liquid is spilled, it's exposed to rain/water, it doesn't operate normally, it's dropped, or its performance changes. Avoid using the telephone during electrical storms. Do not use the telephone to report gas leaks. Do not install telephone wiring or jacks during lightning storms or in wet locations unless specifically designed for them. Do not touch uninsulated telephone wires or terminals unless the line is disconnected.
