LIGHTING — To apply more fight to the
Scene (GR-AX60 only} -- :
When fiatural lighting is foo dim, you can brighten thie
by using the bult-In video ight. thers

IB] Set the LGHT ON/AUTO as required.
‘ON: Always keeps the light on'as long as the
‘VideoMovie is tuned on.
AUTO: Automatically turns on the light when the
VideoMovie senses insutticient lighting on
the subject.

HOW TO REPLACE THE VIDEO LIGHT
BULB
{tis recommended to consuit your nearest JVC dealer for
replacing the bulb. However, if you wish to do it yourselt,
proceed as follows:
[1 Turn and toosen the screw with a screw driver.
[&) Putt out the lamp cover.
[3 Pus out the tuib.
B Insert a new but.
= At steps [3] and [1] use the tweezers provided with new
bulb to hold the bulb. Do nat touch the bulb directly,
[H} Reattach the lamp cover and tighten the screw.

INDEX CODE MARKING
The VHS index-Search System. (ViSS) gives you
automatic access to any point you select on.a
recording. Only the marking aspect of the index
Search System is included th this unit, 1 altows index
codes to be placed on recorded tape for convenient
dubbing or editing on VCRs with an index Search
function.
Auto marking
‘An index code is always marked at the beginning of
the first recording after the date advances and a
cassette is inserted.
— "INDEX" blinks while marking,
Manual marking
The AM-V704U remote contro! unit allows index codes
to be marked in any desired position.
HE Press ViSS once to put an Index code onto the
tape.
— "INDEX" blinks during the marking process.
"If VSS has been pressed in the Record-Pause
mode, an index code is put at the point where
START/STOP is pressed.
SELF-TIMER
This Solf-Timer function’ aflows you to set the amount
of time delay before recording starts after. StarvStop
has been pressed. If the VideoMovie has been
secured, the operator can enter the picture belore
actual recording begins,
