STILL PLAYBACK
Press PAUSE during piayback.
— The power indicator lights.

VideoMMovie enters the.Stop mode automatically for
tape protection and switches itselt off.
SHUTTLE SEARCH
Fast-speed forward playback:
Press FF during playback.
~Playback will be speeded up to 3 times normal
speed.
Fast-speed reverse playback:
Press REW in the Play mode.
—The tape will be played back in the reverse
direction at 3 times normal speed.
Notes:
= For brief fast-speed searching, keep FF or REW
pressed for more than 2 seconds; when you release
the button, the Search mode will be cancelled.
= Noise bars will appear and pictures may become
monochrome while in Still Playback or Shuttle
Search. This is not due to any defect of the unit.
COUNTER MEMORY FUNCTION
This VideoMovie incorporates a counter memory
function which facilitates locating a specitic tape
‘segment,

— Resets the counter to "0:00:00",

—The tape will automatically stop at the counter

= The counter memory function is effective in the Fast

= To cancel the memory function, press COUNTER
MEMORY so that *M" disappears.
= When the power supply unit is disconnected, the
counter memory function is instantly cancelled.
= The counter memory function is not effective when
using the high-speed FF or high-speed REW
(cr P24),
USING THE CASSETTE ADAPTER
By using the Cassette Adapter, a VHS-C video cassette recorded with this VideoMovis can be played back with
any deck-type VHS video recorder. Also, a VHS-C video cassette installed in the cassette adapter is fully
‘compatible for both recording and playback on any deck-ype VHS video récorder.
