CAMERA
WIND CUT*
[OFF]: Disengages the function.
ON: Helps cut down on noise created by wind. The “ ” indicator
appears. The quality of the sound will change. This is normal.
IMAGE
QUALITY**
[FINE] ()/STANDARD ()
The Image Quality mode can be selected to best match your needs.
For the approx. number of storable images (墌 26).
RECORDING
REC MODE
[SP]: To record in the SP (Standard Play) mode. (SP indicator does not
appear on the screen).
LP: Long Play - more economical, providing 1.5 times the recording
time.
Note:
During playback of a tape recorded on another camcorder, blocks of noise may
appear or there may be momentary pauses in the sound.
SOUND
MODE
[12BIT]: Enables video recording of stereo sound on four separate
channels. (Equivalent to the 32 kHz mode of previous models).
16BIT: Enables video recording of stereo sound on two separate
channels. (Equivalent to the 48 kHz mode of previous models).
SNAP/SLOW
[SNAP ] : Snapshot mode.
SLOW : Live Slow mode.
For details on the procedure, refer to “Live Slow” (墌 37) and “Snapshot
(Record Still Image On Tape)” (墌 37).
REC MEDIA
(Tape): When Snapshot recording is performed, still
images are recorded only onto the tape.
/ (Tape/Card): Still images are recorded only onto the tape but
also in the memory card (640 x 480 pixels).
[ (Card)]: Still images are recorded into the Memory Card
only. Select this setting to perform Dual Rec.
