RECORDING
(mpg. 18,19)
0 Perform charging where the temperature is between 10°C and
35°C (50°F and 95°F). 20°C to 25°C (68°F to 77°F) is the ideal
temperature range for charging. If the environment is too cold,
charging may be incomplete.
0 Charging times are for a fully discharged battery pack.
0 Charging time varies according to the ambient temperature and
the status of the battery pack.
0 To avoid interference with reception, do not use the AC Adapter
near a radio.
0 Since the AC Adapter processes electricity internally, it becomes
warm during use. Be sure to use it only in well-ventilated areas.
0 The following operation stops charging:
l
Set the Power Switch to ” m “, ”
q
” or * 0 “.
l
Disconnect the AC adapter from the camcorder.
*Unplug the AC adapter’s power cord from the AC outlet.
l
Detach the battery from the camcorder.
0 When you use the LCD monitor outdoors in direct sunlight, the
LCD monitor may be difficult to see. If this happens, use the
viewfinder instead.
0 The cassette holder cannot be opened unless a power supply is
attached.
0 There may be a delay after you open the cassette holder cover
until the cassette holder opens. Do not use force.
0 Once the cassette holder is closed, it recedes automatically. Wait
until it recedes completely before closing the cassette holder
cover.
0 When the Recording Start/Stop button is pressed, it may take a
few seconds before actual recording starts. “Q” starts rotating
when the camcorder actually starts recording.
0 The time required to calculate and display the remaining tape
length, and the accuracy of the calculation, may vary according
to the type of tape used.
0 “TAPE END” appears when the tape reaches its end, and the
power goes off automatically if left in this condition for
5 minutes. “TAPE END” also appears when a cassette at its end is
loaded.
0 During recording, sound is not heard from the speaker. To hear
the sound, connect optional headphones to the AV IN/OUT
(headphone) connector. The sound volume is at the level it was
adjusted to during playback (017 pg. 21). (GR-DVM75 only)
