Displaying the screen of the
smartphone
You can display the screen of smartphones
connected via the HDMI/MHL input terminal.
1 Connect your smartphone to the HDMI/
MHL input terminal. (Page63)
• Use HDMI cable KS-U60 (optional accessory)
or MHL cable KS-U61 (optional accessory).
2 Select “HDMI/MHL” as the source.

Using the external navigation unit
(Only for KW-V820BTM)
You can connect a navigation unit (commercially
available) to the navigation input terminal so that
you can view the navigation screen. (Page64)
• The navigation guidance comes out of the front
speakers even when you are listening to an audio
source.
Viewing the navigation screen
Preparation:
Select [NAV] for [DISP Key] in the <User
Interface> screen. (Page54)
• While the navigation screen is displayed, the touch
panel operations are available only for navigation.
• The aspect ratio of the navigation screen is fixed
to <Full> regardless of the <Aspect> setting
(Page49).
To exit the navigation screen
Adjusting the guidance volume
1 Display the <SETUP> screen.
On the Home screen:
• You can also display the <SETUP> screen by
touching [
] on the source/option selection

2 Display the <Navigation> screen.
3 Adjust the volume of the navigation
guidance.
