. Remove the bottom cover.
2. Dismount (Take out) the front panel ass’y togehter with
the wire from the chassis.
3. Also, dismount (take out) the rear panel ass’y together
with the wire from the chassis.
4. Dismount the CD unit.

H Front/Rear/Bottom/Cover Dismounting
Method
1. Remove the five screws @ and @) retaining the
bottom cover.
2. Dismount the covers initially from the rear cover while
opening both sides.
3. Remove the four screws 8) retaining the front cover.
4. Remove the connectors CN701 and CN702 from the
both side of 3F P.C. board.
CN702: From the key switch P.C. board
CN703: From the volume motor P.C. board
5. Remove the volume P.C. board connector CN314 from
the 1F P.C. board.
6. Remove the earth wire receptacle provided from the
switch P.C. board to the 3F P.C. board (See Fig. 5-4).
7. Remove the four screws @ retaining the rear panel.
8. Remove the AM antenna wire CN2 to the 2F P.C. board
9. From the terminal P.C. board CN1, remove the FM
antenna parallel wire provided from the 2F P.C. board.
10. Remove the connector CN306 from the AUX IN
terminal P.C. board.
B@ Method of Dismounting the Front Panal Ass’y
parts
1. Pull out the sound volume knob.(When the one screw
retaining the LED P.C. board is removed, the knob can
be replaced. The LED wire should be passed through
a hole on the front panel bottom side). D SB
2. After removing the nut 6) retaining the sound volume eee
ass’y from the front panel, take out the motor volume

Wind the wire once over the shaft.
, Turn the volume fully in

3. Remove the nine screws 6) retaining the control
switch P.C. board ass’y.

Parts
1. When the one screw retaining the AM antenna holder
is removed, the antenna wire can be dismounted.
2. Remove the three screws retaining the AUX IN/FM
antenna terminal ass’y. Then, the terminal ass’y can
