@ Procedures for Disassembly of Power Supply

. Remove the two screws (@) retaining the rear panel.
. Remove the power sopply cord from the rear panel.
. Remove the one screw
retaining the amp. input
(CD/tuner output) connector jack.
. Dismount the upper power supply P.C. board while
pulling it upward.
. Remove the four screws 6 retaining the head sinks A
and B.
. Remove the two screws 2) retaining the trans. bracket
from the bottom side.
@ Speaker Disassembly Method
This speaker is attached to the speaker panel and speaker
box by pressure bonding.
Since the panel, etc. may sometimes be damaged when
excessive force is applied rapidly to the panel, be sure
to apply force qradually to the panel, etc. to dismount
the speakey.

Manually remove the saran net (See Fig. 5-19).
Turn the speaker box upside down as indicated in
Fig.5-20.
Insert a minus screw driver (large) into the right groove
indicated in Figs. 5-20 and 5-21 (A), and push up just
the bottom of the insertnut.

. Slide the power supply ass’y to the front side, and
dismount it from the bottom cover.
. Remove the one screw retaining the power amp. P.C.
board.
. Remove the one screw @) retaining the power supply
relay P.C. board, and dismount this P.C. board from the
power supply trans. P.C. board.
