Shows the disc number being selected.
2 Title/chapter/track/key indicator
Usually displays the title/chapter, or track number.
When you shift the musical key, the status is displayed. For
example, if you lower the key two level, the display shows
“-2.”
3 Time display
Shows the cumulative or remaining time of the track or disc,
or the total disc time.
4 Disc indicator
Indicates the type of the disc set in the selected tray. When a
DVD disc is set, “DVD” is indicated. When a Video CD or
SVCD is set, “VCD” is indicated. When an Audio CD is set,
there is no indication.
5 Function indicator
Activated function indicators light up.

Outputs a composite video signal.
2 S-VIDEO OUT jack (12)
Outputs an S-video signal.
3 COMPONENT VIDEO OUT jacks (Y/PB/PR) (13)
Outputs component video signals.
4 AV COMPU LINK jacks (48)
Connects with other JVC equipment supporting the AV
Compulink function to facilitate integrated operations.
5 ATTENUATOR (ON/OFF) switch (12)
Attenuates the output level when it is set to ON.
6 VIDEO OUT SELECT (NTSC/PAL) switch (12)
Selects NTSC or PAL according to the color system of your
TV.
7 AUDIO OUT jacks (L/R) (12)
Outputs stereo analog audio signals.
8 DIGITAL OUT jack (OPTICAL) (14)
Outputs digital audio signals. Only an optical connector is
provided.
9 AC IN connector (14)
Connects to the wall outlet using the suppplied AC power
cord.
