5.4 The first image
Prior to the first recording or image capture, perform a white balance to adjust the camera to the color temperature of the
light situation.
Perform the white balance
Switch on the lighting and point the camera to a white surface. Press the AWB button briefly to start the white balance. The
white balance is completed in one second. The camera is ready for operation.
Save an image or a video on SD card
Position your object and frame the image.
Press the release button briefly for manual image capture (camera symbol). The camera captures an image, the LED is
flashing green and the image is saved on the SD card as a JPEG file.
To record a video stream press the release button on the camera until the green LED is flashing. Press the button again to
end the recording.
Image processing on the PC
If you want to process or to save the image on the PC, remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into the SD card
slot of the PC or of an external SD card reader. Load the image or the video from the SD card and process it on your PC.
