5. Use
The following explains the best way to use
your suction unit.
Note:
The flat folding filter must always
remain fitted in the suction unit.
Dry suction
You can suck up dry dirt without any problem
both with and without a paper filter bag.
We recommend that you always use the paper
filter bag for sucking up fine dirt.
The paper filter bag gives you:
- significantly higher dust holding capacity.
- simple and hygienic dust disposal.
Wet suction
Always work without a paper filter bag.
Empty the dirt container to prevent sludge for-
mation.
The suction unit switches off automatically
when the dirt container is full.
Note:
After emptying, press the On/Off
switch twice.
Never suck up explosive liquids (e.g. petrol,
diesel fuel, heating oil), acids or solvents!
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Switch on the suction unit.
4. Putting into operation
Prepare your suction unit for operation as
follows.
Push the suction hose into the connection
until it latches into position.
Join the two suction pipes and connect to the
suction hose.
Connect the required nozzle to the suction
pipe. (see “Nozzle selection”).
