  Low water temperature in your Kärcher Pressure Washer can stem from several causes. It could be due to improper fuel or water in the fuel, in which case you should drain the fuel tank and replace it with the proper fuel. Low fuel pressure might also be the issue, so increase the fuel pressure. A weak fuel pump could be the cause; check the fuel pump temperature and replace the pump if needed. A partially clogged fuel filter can also lead to low water temperature, so replace it as needed. Soot build-up on the coils or lime build-up on the coils can also reduce water temperature, so clean the coils with soot remover or coil cleaner, respectively. Lastly, an improper burner nozzle could be the problem; call technical service for the proper size.

  If the water temperature of your Kärcher Pressure Washer is too hot, several factors could be contributing. The incoming water to the machine might be warm or hot, in which case you should lower the incoming water temperature. The fuel pump pressure might be too high, so lower the fuel pressure. A defective fuel pump could also be the cause, so replace the fuel pump. The detergent line might be sucking air; tighten all clamps and check the detergent line for holes. A defective high limit switch (thermostat) could also be the issue, so replace it. Insufficient water supplied to the machine or restricted water flow can also cause overheating, so check the GPM to the machine and inspect the nozzle for obstructions and proper size.
