Why is the output pressure of my Kärcher K 3.000 Pressure Washer varying high and low?
    • V
      vasquezalejandroAug 20, 2025
If the output pressure of your Kärcher Pressure Washer is fluctuating, it could be due to several reasons. Ensure you have enough inlet water supply by turning the water on full force and checking the garden hose for kinks, leaks, or blockages. The pump might be sucking air; check that hoses and fittings are airtight, then turn off the machine and purge the pump by squeezing the trigger gun until a steady flow of water emerges through the nozzle. A clogged water inlet filter can also cause this; remove the filter and rinse it in warm water. Lastly, the discharge nozzle might be obstructed; clean it by removing dirt and debris from the nozzle bore using a needle and rinse it with water from the front.

If your Kärcher Pressure Washer's motor won't start, there are several potential causes: * Ensure the On/Off switch is in the “ON” (I) position. * Verify the power cord is properly plugged into an electrical outlet. * Try a different outlet to rule out inadequate power supply. * If the GFCI plug has tripped, press the “RESET” button. * If the internal circuit breaker has tripped, switch off the pressure washer; it will reset automatically once the unit's temperature drops.

If your Kärcher Pressure Washer isn't reaching high pressure, consider these possible causes and solutions: * Replace the garden hose with a 5/8 inch (16mm) or larger one if the current diameter is too small. * Check the garden hose for any kinks, leaks, or blockages that may be restricting the water supply. * Ensure the water source is fully open to provide enough inlet water supply. * Remove and rinse the water inlet filter in warm water to clear any clogs.
