— Drive only on slopes up to 20 %
in the travelling direction.
— At right angles to direction of
travel only negotiate gradients up
to a maximum of 10 %.

! Move the machine exclusively on
a solid travelling surface.

incline of more than 10 %.

Function description -
sweeping machine
The KMR 1700 D operates on the
shovel principle
— The rotating main brush (1)
transports the dirt directly into the
debris container (2).
— The side brush (3) cleans corners
and edges of the sweeping
surface and transports the dirt in
the path of the main brush.
— The fine dust is sucked by the
blower fan (4) through the dust
filter (5).
Before first operating
Unloading instructions
For safe transportation the machine
was secured with taut belts, ropes
or chains.
Proceed as follows when
unloading:
! Lock the hand brake
! Remove the taut belts, ropes or
chains from the transporting
loops
! Knock away blocks securing the
wheels and drive the machine off
the transport vehicle over a
suitable ramp (min. load-bearing
capacity 2 t)
Operating sweeping
machine without
automotive power
! Open the engine bonnet
! Turn the free-run lever of the
hydraulic pump through 90°
(crosswise to the driving
direction)
Note:
Do not move sweeper over long
distances and at speeds of more
than 10 km/h
