Î Open the locks on the suction head and remove the suction
head (3) from the dirt container (6).

The NT 48/1 is equipped with a dirt water drain hose (2). The dirt
water can be drained from the dirt container into a drain chute via
this dirt water drain hose.
Î Pull the dirt water drain hose (2) off of the intake (1) and place
it into a drain chute.
Î Let the dirt water drain completely.
Î After emptying, reinsert the dirt water drain hose (2) into the in-
take (1).
