USE AND MAINTENANCE OF THE VISOR FOR
EYE PROTECTION MODEL “ZEN”
GENERAL INFORMATION
Read the instructions carefully before using the visor; the failure to observe the
above could reduce the safety offered by the visor. In the event of an accident
with injuries or even death due to improper use of the visor, the manufacturer
and/or distributor are not liable. This visor must be used only and exclusively
for the activities for which it was certied. This visor is CE certied for general
use with safety helmets in sports, forest re ghting, industry, work at heights,
emergency medical and rescue services, approved in accordance with EN 166.
The visor cannot be used individually if not in combination with the helmet
models Zenith, Zenith PI and product variants Zenith Air, Zenith BA and Zenith
BA Air.
This product is not intended for use in situations other than those for which it was
designed (e.g. electrical hazards).
The visor object of this manual is a 2nd categoryIndividual Protection Device and
as such was subjected to EC-type examination procedure pursuant to Article 10
of the European Directive 89/686/EEC, and subsequent amendments.
The notied body Certottica Scrl NB 0530 has carried out the EC certication
process.
REGULATORY INFORMATION
Warning: the materials that may come into contact with the skin could cause
allergic reactions to sensitive individuals.
Warning: protection devices against high-speed particles worn over reference
ophthalmic spectacles, can transmit potentially dangerous impact for the user.
Warning: this device protects against high-speed particles at extreme
temperatures and it is characterized by the marking with the letterT immediately
after the impact letter.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
As a preventive measure, it is imperative to use the visor throughout the course
of the work or sports activities. For adequate protection, it is important that the
visor is securely mounted on the helmet in order to offer maximum safety. The
visor must be adjusted to t the wearer; it should be positioned in such a way
as to minimize the intrusion of any external agents that could damage the eyes.
The protective material covered by this policy consist of hypoallergenic materials.
However, some particularly sensitive users could have allergic reactions. In this
