Care and safety instructions
Dear kela customer,
We congratulate you on the pur-
chase of your long-lasting quality
product from kela. In order to have
many years of enjoyment with it,
please read the following product
information and instructions for
use and care, as well as the safety
recommendations.
Whether you’re looking for a clas-
sic re tongs punch on cold winter
evenings or a zesty summer
punch on warm summer nights,
you can look forward to fun eve-
nings in a convivial atmosphere
with kela’s Juntos punch bowl.
We placed great emphasis on the
exceptionally high stability of the
rechaud and glass bowl during
the development. The rechaud,
specially developed for the bowl,
keeps it safe so that it cannot slip
o. All surfaces and materials are
easy to clean.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before initially setting up the
product, choose a stable surface
and make sure that the surface
can withstand any radiant heat
from the burner.
ATTENTION! The safety paste
burner may only be operated
with standard safety burner paste.
Never ll with alcohol or similar
liquids!
Also observe the
safety information included with
the safety paste burner and safety
burner paste.
Do not use the glass bowl on the
cooker! The liquid must be heated
in a suitable pan beforehand.
Never leave children unatten-
ded near the appliance!
If the sugar loaf is still burning,
never pour rum directly from
the bottle into the open ame!
Always use a metal spoon to add
rum (the plastic ladle is only suit-
able for serving the punch).
INITIAL SETUP / INSTRUC-
TIONS FOR USE
Remove any labels or other
adhesive residue. Clean the glass
bowl with a standard detergent.
Place the rechaud on a stable,
wobble-free surface and place the
glass bowl on the rechaud.
Heat the liquid in a saucepan on
the cooker (do not boil). Fill the
heated liquid into the glass bowl.
Place the safety paste burner
in the rechaud and ignite the
safety burner paste that you
have previously used. Choose a
small ame by twisting the burner
handle.
Place the re tongs on the glass
bowl and make sure that they are
sittings securely.
Place the sugar loaf on the re
tongs and soak it thoroughly with
rum before setting it on re. Take
care when setting it on re!
Carefully pour on the rum with
a metal spoon until the burning
sugar loaf has melted. You will
nd recipes in our enclosed recipe
booklet.
The appliance becomes very hot
during use. Therefore, always use
a pot holder or oven gloves.
Let your rechaud, burner and
glass bowl cool down thoroughly
after use.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Clean the rechaud only with hot
water, it is not suitable for the
dishwasher.
ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT /
DISPOSAL
All parts of the re tongs punch
bowl can be recycled.
