IMPORTANT!
Read this entire installation manual to ensure proper installation. When finished with
the installation, file this manual with the owner or maintenance department. Compliance
and conformity to local codes and ordinances is the responsibility of the installer.
Separate parts from packaging and make sure all parts are accounted for before
discarding packaging material. If any parts are missing, do not begin installation until
you obtain the missing parts.
Make sure that all water supply lines have been flushed and then completely turned off

How to troubleshoot a Keltech SNA-36 with no power?
    • S
      Shane JamesAug 1, 2025
If your Keltech Water Heater has no power, start by verifying that the power is on. Then, check the continuity of all internal fuses in the control transformer, heating elements, or optional Fused Disconnect circuits. Ensure all field service circuit breakers or fuses are working. Also, check the safety interlock door switch to ensure it's not misadjusted or the enclosure door isn't open. Verify the system temperature limit control hasn't activated due to excessive heat exchanger temperature or a faulty sensor. Look for loose or disconnected wires. Finally, check the incoming service connection, ensuring the voltage matches the nameplate rating.

What to do if Keltech Water Heater does not work or works intermittently?
    • H
      Holly HoffmanAug 11, 2025
If your Keltech Water Heater isn't working or is working intermittently, first check that the flow sensor at the inlet is spinning when water is running. Check if the FLCB light is on in Low flow (> 1.5 gpm). In High flow (> 15gpm) both the low flow light and high flow lights should be illuminated. Ensure adequate water flow through the heater to activate the flow sensor at 1.5 gpm. Also, verify the heater is wired with the correct breaker and wire size. Finally, confirm the unit receives voltage from all 3 phases of the power source, and take a load voltage reading.

Why Element Load Bank 1–2 or 3–4 is not energized in Keltech SNA-36 Water Heater?
    • R
      Robin MossAug 22, 2025
If Element Load Bank 1–2 or 3–4 is not energized on your Keltech Water Heater, check the FLCB with the corresponding light. Bank 1–2 on the front bezel corresponds to Bank 1 on the FLCB, and Bank 3–4 corresponds to Bank 2. If the light is off and there is power, check if the water temperature exceeds 175°F. If so, decrease the water temperature and restart the system.
