Why is my Kenmore 110.20372710 Washer vibrating or off-balance?

Several factors can cause your Kenmore washer to vibrate or become off-balance. The feet may not be in contact with the floor and locked, so ensure the front and rear feet are firmly touching the floor and that the washer is level, with the jam nuts tightened. An unbalanced load can also cause this issue; load items loosely and evenly around the basket wall, avoiding adding wet items or too much water. It is also important to balance single heavy items with a few extra items. If the dial is flashing, redistribute the load, close the lid, and touch and hold the START/ PAUSE/UNLOCK LID button. For oversized, non-absorbent items like comforters, use the Bulky/Bedding cycle.
