To address vibration or off-balance issues with your Kenmore Washer, ensure the front and rear feet are firmly on the floor and that the washer is level. Check the floor for flexing or sagging; if uneven, placing a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood underneath can help. Also, distribute dry items loosely and evenly around the basket wall when loading. Avoid tightly packing the washer, washing single items, or adding wet items, as this can cause imbalance. For oversized, non-absorbent items like comforters, use the Bulky/Bedding cycle. Washing smaller loads may also reduce imbalance.
