How to fix an unbalanced load in my Kenmore 2800*010?
    • M
      Michael CraigAug 1, 2025
To fix an unbalanced load in your Kenmore Washer, load garments in loose heaps evenly around the washplate, ensuring not to load garments directly over the center of the washplate. Avoid adding wet items to the washer or adding more water to the basket, as this could unbalance the washer. For oversized, non-absorbent items like small comforters or poly-filled jackets, use the Bulky cycle. Also, washing smaller loads can reduce imbalance.

Why is my Kenmore Washer vibrating or off-balance?
    • N
      Nicholas GarciaAug 12, 2025
Your Kenmore washer might be vibrating or off-balance due to several reasons. The feet may not be in firm contact with the floor or locked properly, the washer might not be level, or the load could be unbalanced. Make sure the front and rear feet are firmly on the floor, the washer is level, and the jam nuts are tight. Check the floor for flexing or sagging; consider using a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood if the flooring is uneven. Also, load garments loosely and evenly around the washplate, avoiding placing them directly over the center. Adding wet items or too much water can also cause imbalance.

What to do if my Kenmore 2800*010 Washer is not level?

      David MillerAug 21, 2025
If your Kenmore Washer is not level, check the floor for flexing or sagging. If the flooring is uneven, placing a 3/4" (19 mm) piece of plywood under the washer can reduce sound. Ensure that the front and rear feet are in firm contact with the floor and that the washer is level for proper operation. The jam nuts must be tight against the bottom of the cabinet.
