Mostcooking problems often are caused by little things you can find and fix without tools of any kind. Check the
listsbelow and on the next page before calling for assistance or service. Ifyou still need help, see the Sears toll-

MICROWAVE OVEN DOES NOT WORK
PROBLEM CAUSE
Nothing works. • The power supply cord is notplugged intoa grounded 3 prong outlet. (See the
electricalrequirements" sectionon page 6 and the "Electricalconnection" section
on Page 8.)
• A household fuse has blownor a circuit breakerhas tripped.
• The electriccompany has had a power failure.

techniciancan tell you ifthe outlet voltage is low.
• The cook poweris not atthe recommended setting.

The display shows a time • You have not allowed enough cooking time for the amount of food being
cooked. Larger amounts offood need longer cooking times.
