To reach the set coldnesslevel when operating the beverage center for the first time, runit without
load until you hear the compressor stop. Thisusually takes 2 to 3 hours Once the settemperature is
reached, load beverages into the beverage center
Note: If the beverage cehqter has been placed in a horizontal or more than 45°
tilted position for any period of time,wait 1 hour before plugging it in,

V : Pressthispad once and the temperature will decrease 1° F/C
Thebeverage center can be operated by adjusting the temperature control buttons (uparrow
and down arrow/ to various settings.
Thenew desired temperature will flash on the display for a few secondsand then switch
back to the actuat temperature which will gradudiy change unfitsetpoint isreached.
Thetemperature range MIN and MAX is40°- 50°F (4°, 10°C}, which isideal for
beverage storage.

sound for 30 seconds. One minute tatec the alarm witi continue to soundfor another 30 seconds.
After three times,the alarm witl not soundany more You can press any key to cancel the sound
atarrn.
Storing too many cans or bottles in the beverage center may cause the temperature inthe chiller to
rise tempora rily.
Normal Operating Sounds You May Hear
At times you may hear boiling water, gurgling sounds,etc. that are the result of the
refrigerant circulating through the cooling coils
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING:TOavoid electric shock,always unplugyour beverage center before
cleaning. Ignoringthis warning may resultin death or iniury.
CAUTION..Belore usingcleaning products,always read and understandthe cleaning processes
explained in thismanual. Follow cleaning product manufacturers'sinstructionsand warnings to avoid
personal injury or product damage.
General Cleaning
Prepare a cleaning solution of 1to 2 tablespoons of baking soda mixed with warm water, Usea
spongeor soft cioth, dampened with the cleaning solution,to wipe down your beverage center
and Temperature Contro! panel
Rinsewith clean warm water and dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use harshchemicals,abrasives, ammonia, chlorine bleach, concentrated detergents,
solventsor metal scouring pads. Some of thesechemicals may dissolve,damage and/or discolor
your beverage center.
Door Gaskets
Clean door gaskets every three monthsaccording to the instructions described above in General
Cleaning.
Apply a light coating of petroleum icily to the hinge sideof the door gaskets to keep the gaskets
pliable and ensurea good seal.
Power interruptions
Occasionally there may be power interruptions due to thunderstormsor other causes Removethe
power cord plug from the AC outlet when a power outage occurs. Keep the beverage center door
closed to preserve compartment coolness for as long aspossibie After a prolonged power outage,
you should clean the inside of the beverage center compartment before reuse.
Vacation and Moving Care
Forlongvacationsor absences,unplug the unit,remove beverages from beverage center,turn
the temperature dial to the OFF positionand cleanthedoor gasketsaccordingto the General
Cleaning section.Propdoor open,soaircan circulateinside,if moving ihe beverage cemer,
always keep it in avertical position Donot moveunitwhenina horizontalposition,aspossible
damageto the sealedsystemcould occur.
