The Kenwood KDC-HD262U is a CD-receiver that serves as the central audio unit in a vehicle. It allows users to play music from a wide range of sources, including traditional CDs, digital audio files stored on USB devices, and content streamed from smartphones. The unit features an AM/FM tuner with HD Radio technology, offering enhanced sound quality and additional multicast channels where available.
