Ifyourrefrigeratorisnotworkingproperly,itmaybeaminorproblem,thereforecheckthefollowing.
The appliance does not operate.
Checkif
• Thereisnopower.
• Thegeneralswitchinyourhomeisdisconnected.
• The socket is not faulty.To check this, plug the appliance in to another socket which you know
isworking.
What to do if your appliance performs poorly.
Checkthat:
• Youhaveoverloadedtheappliance.
• Thethermostatsettingisonposition“1”(ifsosetthethermostatdialtoasuitablevalue).
• Thedoorsareclosedproperly.
• Thereisnodustonthecondenser.
• Thereisenoughspaceattherearandsidewalls.
Normal Noises:
Cracking(Icecracking)Noise:
• Duringautomaticdefrosting.
• Whentheapplianceiscooledorwarmed(duetoexpansionofappliancematerial).
Shortcracking:
• Heardwhenthethermostatswitchesthecompressoron/off.
Compressornoise(Normalmotornoise):
• ThisnoisemeansthatthecompressoroperatesnormallyCompressormaycausemorenoiseforashort
timewhenitisactivated.
Bubblingnoiseandsplash:
• Thisnoiseiscausedbytheflowoftherefrigerantinthetubesofthesystem.
Waterflownoise:
• Normalflownoiseofwaterflowingtotheevaporationcontainerduringdefrosting.Thisnoisecanbe
heardduringdefrosting.
AirBlowingNoise(Normalfannoise):
• ThisnoisecanbeheardinNo-Frostrefrigeratorduringnormaloperationofthesystemduetothe
circulationofair.
If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator:
Checkif:
• Thedrainholefordefrostwaterisnotclogged(usedefrostdrainplugtocleanthedrainhole).
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Incaseofasuddenpowerlossordisconnectingandreconnectingoftheplugtotheelectricalsocket,
thecompressorprotectivethermalelementwillbeopenedasthepressureofthegasinthecooling
systemofyourrefrigeratorhasnotyetbeenbalanced.4or5minuteslater,yourrefrigeratorwillstart
tooperate;thisisnormal.
