sional.Theoptionsyouchooseandtheset‐upandadjustmentofthewheel‐
chairhaveadirectimpactonitsstability.Factorstoconsiderthataffectyour
safetyandstabilityare:

b) Thetypesofhazardsandobstaclesyoumightencounterduringyourday.
c) Thespecificdimensions,optionsandsetup.Inparticular,theseatheight,

Withinthismanualyouwillfindwhatarereferredtoas“Signal”words.These
wordsareusedtoidentifyandconveytheseverityofvaryinghazards.Before

avoided,willresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
WARNING–Warningindicatesapotentiallyhazardoussituationwhich,if
notavoided,couldresultinseriousinjuryordeath.
CAUTION–Cautionindicatesapotentiallyhazardoussituationwhich,ifnot
avoided,
couldresultininjuryordamagetoyourwheelchair.
Thesesignalwordswillbeplacedthroughoutthemanual,whereappropriate,to
highlightthehazardoussituation.Refertothefollowinglistforhazardoussitu‐
ationsthatwillapplytothegeneraluseofthiswheelchair.
