Seat Warmers / Ventilated Seats

Function Description: Offers three levels of heating or ventilation for driver and passenger seats.

- Settings: Press top/bottom of button once for high (3 LEDs lit), twice for medium (2 LEDs lit), thrice for low (1 LED lit), and again to turn OFF.
- Automatic Adjustment: When ON, the heating system automatically adjusts based on seat temperature.
Reminder: Wet or moist clothing may affect seat condition/operation.

Drive Mode Integrated Control System

This system allows the driver to select different driving modes.

Function Description: Provides NORMAL, SPORT, and SMART drive modes to adjust vehicle performance based on driver preference and conditions.

- Selection: Press the DRIVE MODE button. Selection displays on Instrument Cluster.
- NORMAL Mode: Default mode, not displayed on Instrument Cluster or audio screen.

- SMART Mode: Automatically selects drive mode (economic, average, aggressive). Indicator illuminates on Instrument Cluster. Deactivate by pressing DRIVE MODE button again.
Reminder: SPORT mode may decrease fuel economy.

Lifting Wipers (Wiper Service Mode)

This feature allows the wipers to be positioned for service or cleaning.

Function Description: Moves wipers to an upright position for windshield cleaning, blade replacement, or in snowy/icy conditions.
Usage Features:
- Activation: With ignition ON, turn engine OFF, move wiper switch to MIST position within 20 seconds and hold for > 2 seconds until wipers are fully up.
- Return to Normal: Turn ignition ON, then activate MIST.

Power Outlets, Multimedia USB Port, and USB Charger Ports

These ports provide power and connectivity for electronic devices.

Function Description: Offers various ports for charging devices and connecting multimedia.
Usage Features:
- Power Outlets: 12V (180W max.) outlets for mobile phones and other devices.
- Multimedia USB Port: Connects USB audio and smartphone devices.
- USB Charger Ports: Recharges devices using a USB cable.
Technical Specifications: Engine Start/Stop button must be in ACC/ON/START position for USB Charger Port.
Reminder: Prolonged use of power outlets with engine off (ACC position) can discharge the battery.

Wireless Smartphone Charging System

This system allows for wireless charging of compatible smartphones.

Function Description: Wirelessly charges compatible smartphones when placed on the charging tray.
Usage Features:
- Activation: Place phone on tray at front of console, near USB ports, with ignition ON.
- Enable Wireless Charging: Via User Settings (Instrument Cluster) or Vehicle Settings (infotainment system) > Convenience > Wireless Charging System.
- Indicator Light: Changes to AMBER when charging begins, then GREEN when complete.

Kia Access App

This mobile application provides remote control and status monitoring for the vehicle.

Function Description: Connects the user's cell phone to the vehicle via a cellular network for remote commands and vehicle status.
Usage Features:
- Connectivity: Requires good wireless signal strength for both phone and vehicle. Remote commands may not execute or may take longer without it.
- Remote Start/Climate Control: All doors, hood, and trunk/liftgate must be closed and locked. Operates for 10 minutes, then vehicle shuts off.
- Pre-conditioning: Activate Remote Start/Climate Control a few minutes before getting into the vehicle to reach desired interior temperature.
- Vehicle Status: Quickest way to obtain accurate status is by pressing the refresh icon on the app or customer web portal.
Technical Specifications: Kia Connect will not work seven days after the ignition was last turned on (requires vehicle restart with key fob).
Important Note: Do not use remote climate control or remote start in enclosed or partially enclosed areas without ventilation. Close all doors leading from adjacent living areas.
