Overview

The Sparkle Mansion Dollhouse is a multi-story play structure designed for children, featuring various rooms and accessories to stimulate imaginative play. It requires adult assembly and includes several small parts, some with potentially sharp points and edges in their unassembled state. Therefore, it is crucial to keep unassembled parts away from children. The dollhouse is not suitable for children under 3 years due to choking hazards from small parts and sharp points.

Function Description:

The dollhouse serves as a miniature mansion where children can engage in role-playing scenarios with their dolls and accessories. It features multiple levels, rooms, and interactive elements such as a piano and a floor lamp with battery-operated lights and sounds. The design encourages creativity, storytelling, and social interaction when played with others.

Usage Features:

  • Assembly: The dollhouse requires adult assembly, with detailed instructions provided for each step. Hardware includes various types of bolts, screws, and nuts, along with an Allen wrench and a Phillips® screwdriver for assembly.
  • Stability: The dollhouse should be used on level surfaces only. To minimize the risk of the dollhouse being pulled over or falling, creating a risk of injury or damage, it is recommended to use the enclosed wall anchor kit to attach the dollhouse to a wall. Children should not be permitted to climb or pull on the dollhouse.
  • Interactive Accessories:
    • Piano (Part 59): This accessory includes battery-operated sound features. To activate, locate the battery compartment underneath the piano, pull the tab outward to remove and activate play mode. It uses three (3) LR44 / AG13 (1.5V) batteries, which are included. Sounds are activated when the button on the piano is pressed.
    • Floor Lamp (Part 64): This accessory includes battery-operated light features. To activate, locate the battery compartment underneath the floor lamp, pull the tab outward to remove and activate play mode. It uses three (3) LR44 / AG13 (1.5V) batteries, which are included. Lights are activated when the button on the lamp is pressed.
  • Parental Supervision: Parental supervision is required, especially for children younger than the intended age range, to ensure they do not interact with the toy inappropriately. The toy should be used on the floor, and children should not be allowed to climb on or around it.
  • FCC Compliance: The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules, meaning its operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. If the equipment causes harmful interference to radio or television reception, users are encouraged to reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, increase the separation between the equipment and receiver, connect the equipment into an outlet on a different circuit, or consult a dealer or experienced radio/TV technician.

Maintenance Features:

  • Regular Checks: It is important to check the assembly at regular intervals and frequently tighten hardware if necessary. Failure to carry out maintenance could cause the product to cease functioning properly.
  • Cleaning: The surface of the dollhouse should be cleaned using a slightly damp cloth and mild dishwashing liquid if necessary. Avoid using cleaning products containing alcohol or ammonia, as these can dull the shiny surface of the product. Furniture polish can also be used to clean and dust the surface. It is recommended to test all cleaning materials on the underside of any surface that would not be seen during normal use of the product.
  • Battery Replacement (Piano and Floor Lamp):
    • To replace batteries, locate the battery compartment underneath the piano (Part 59) or floor lamp (Part 64).
    • Use a Phillips® head screwdriver to remove the cover.
    • Replace old batteries with three (3) new LR44 / AG13 (1.5V) batteries, ensuring they are inserted with the positive (+) side up.
    • Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the toy before being charged.
    • Screw the cover back into place with a Phillips® head screwdriver.
  • Battery Safety Tips:
    • Batteries should always be installed and changed under adult supervision.
    • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
    • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
    • Only batteries of the same equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
    • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
    • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy and disposed of properly.
    • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
    • DO NOT mix old and new batteries.
    • DO NOT mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
  • Warranty: The toy is warranted solely against manufacturing defects for a period of 90 days from the date of purchase. To activate and protect this warranty, preserve evidence of original purchase and carefully inspect the toy prior to and after assembly for any missing, degraded, broken, or hazardous parts (including parts that can be swallowed, cause choking, or injury, such as magnets, wheels, hubs, fasteners, and connectors). If any defects are observed, do not use the toy and immediately notify the manufacturer. Misuse, improper assembly, failure to honor a warning, failure to supervise, inspect, or maintain the toy, or damage to the toy (whether intentional or inadvertent) will invalidate the warranty.
  • General Information: All wooden items are handcrafted, hand-assembled, and hand-painted. Each item is unique, and slight imperfections may occur but are not considered manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover the use of permanent markers, non-water-based paints, crayons, or washable markers, as some of these items contain permanent color dyes that could damage the surface.
