avoid burns, do not let bare skin t ouch hot sur-
faces. Keep combust ible mat erials, such as f urni-
t ure, pillows, bedding, papers, clot hes, boxes,
et c. , and curt ains at least 3f t (0. 9 m) from t he
front of t he heat er and keep t hem away f rom t he
sides and rear.
3. CAUTION: Ext reme caut ion is necessary when
any heat er is used by or near children or invalids
and whenever t he heat er is left operat ing and

The primary function of this device is to convert electrical energy into heat to warm a room. It utilizes a squirrel cage fan to circulate air over heating elements, distributing warm air efficiently. Wattage can be reduced by unplugging insulated push-on terminals according to a color-coded scheme: Orange (750 Watt element), Blue (500 Watt element), Yellow (250 Watt element). The Black wire is common and should not be disconnected. For the 2022 208V 2250W and 2422 240V 2250W models, it is factory wired to 2250 Watts at 208/240 Volts. Wattage reduction is achieved by unplugging terminals: Orange (1000 Watt element), Blue (750 Watt element), Yellow (500 Watt element).
• Electrical Requirements: Proper wire sizing and circuit breaker/fuse sizing are crucial for safe operation. The manual provides a "Wire and Breaker Sizing" chart:
  • 0 thru 12 Amps: #14 AWG wire, 15 amp breaker.
  • 12.1 thru 16 Amps: #12 AWG wire, 20 amp breaker.
