5. Hold the machine securely to the ground with
your left hand.

Pull the recoil starter handle (2) slowly with your
right hand until you feel a denite resistance
and then give it a brisk, strong pull. Repeat
until the engine starts (Fig. 20).
7. Set the choke (4) to OPEN position.
8. Let the machine run in idle for 1 to 2 minutes
to let it warm up.
Starting warm engine
1. Place the machine on a at and stable surface. The cutting attachment should not
touch ground or any objects.
2. Set stop switch (20) to I (Fig. 21).
3. Set the choke (4) to OPEN position (Fig. 22).

4. Hold the machine securely to the ground with your left hand.
5. Pull the recoil starter handle (2) briskly and strongly. Repeat until the engine starts.
After starting the engine
1. Press the throttle trigger lockout (21) and then slowly press the throttle trigger (19)
to increase the engine speed.
2. Check if the machine stops rotating when you release the throttle trigger (19).
3. Once the engine is running smoothly, carefully lift the machine and secure it to the
harness (10) using the clip.
WARNING! Always attach the machine to the harness (10). Do not carry it
only with you hands.
