Throughout these instructions the symbol and the words NOTE, CAUTION, WARNING and DANGER are
used to call your attention to important safety information. The definition of each of these terms used follows:
NOTE: Indicates a special point of information.
CAUTION: Indicates that a failure to observe can cause damage to the machine or equipment.
WARNING: Indicates that a failure to observe can cause damage to the machine or equipment and/
or personal injury.
DANGER: Indicates that a failure to observe can cause most serious damage to the machine or
equipment and/or most serious personal injury.
Before beginning installation, read completely through these instructions.
Using the shipping order and/or the Contents Listings Section at the end of this instruction, check to be sure you have
all the packages needed to complete assembly.
The information used in these instructions was current at the time of printing. However, due to KINZE's continual attempt
to improve its product, production changes may cause your planter to appear slightly different in detail. KINZE
Manufacturing, Inc. reserves the right to change specifications or design without notice and without incurring obligation
to install the same on planter previously manufactured.
Right hand and left hand as used throughout these instructions is determined by facing in the direction the machine
will travel when in use, unless otherwise stated.
DANGER: Always install all safety lockups or lower planter to the ground before working around or
under the unit.

      If sensor communication alarms appear for all sensors on your Kinze Measuring Instruments (no bar graphs, blinking row numbers), the issue might stem from a faulty monitor, a break in the harness just after the monitor, or a dirty/corroded connector. Try replacing the monitor, inspecting and repairing the harness, or cleaning the connector.

      If you are experiencing bad monitor values (like speed, area, etc.) on your Kinze KPM II Measuring Instruments, it could be due to incorrect monitor settings, a faulty radar/magnetic distance sensor, or an improperly mounted radar sensor. Try changing the settings to properly correspond to the system, replacing the sensor, or properly mounting the sensor.
