Make sure that the PTO safety
cover is in its position before
driving the PTO shaft.
Never go close to the rotating
PTO or tractor PTO shaft. A se-
vere accident can happen.
Before driving an implement
with the PTO, always make
sure that all bystanders are
well away from the tractor.
When using the PTO drive with
a stationary tractor, always
make sure that the gears are
in neutral and that the parking
brake is applied.
Surrounding parts should not
interfere with the tractor PTO
and PTO shaft.
WARNING
Before starting up any PTO-
driven implement hitched to
the three-point linkage, lift the
implement to its full height and
check that at least 1/4 of the
total length of the telescopic
section of the drive shaft is en-
gaged.
