STEERING WHEEL ADJUSTMENT

(1) Tilting Steering Lever
Steering Wheel tilt lever is a ratchet type
of lever. Push lever in and turn clock-
wise to release steering wheel and turn
counterclockwise to tighten steering
wheel once in required position.
WARNING
Once the steering wheel is in the
desired position, and has been
tightened using the lever, it the
important to check that it is tight
before moving off.
Do not adjust steering wheel while
in motion.

It is possible to adjust the steering wheel
into two stages according to operator’s
physical condition. Adjust it for the proper
operating position by stepping slightly on
the tilt lever.
WARNING
Do not adjust it surely while
driving.

1. To set the parking brake, pull the brake
lever.
2. To release the parking brake, push the
button and pull down parking lever.

1. To set the parking brake:
Interlock the brake pedals.
Depress the brake pedals.
Latch the brake pedals with the park-
ing brake lever
2. To release the parking brake, depress
the brake pedals again.
