When the key switch is turned “ON”
this gauge indicates the temperature
of the coolant. “C” is for cold, and “H”
is for hot.

TACHOMETER
The tachometer indicates the engine
speed and the 540rpm P.T.O shaft
speed location on the dial.
The hour-meter indicates, in ve dig-
its, the hours that the tractor has been
operated.
When the key switch is on, the fuel
gauge indicates the fuel level.
Be careful not to empty the fuel tank.
Otherwise air may enter the fuel sys-
tem. Should this happen, the system
should be bled (See “Bleeding Fuel
System” in as required in Periodic
Service Section.)

To avoid personal injury:
Do not remove radiator cap un-
til coolant temperature is well
below its boiling point. Then
loosen cap slightly to the stop
to relieve any pressure before
removing cap completely.
