(1) To set the parking brake;
1) Interlock the brake pedals
2) Depress the brake pedals
3) Latch the brake pedals with
the parking brake lever.(Check
that the parking brake lamp on
the gauge board illuminates.)
(2) To release the parking brake
press the brake pedals again.

OPERATING THE ENGINE
To avoid personal injury:
You must read and under-
stand the warning and cau-
tion labels on your tractor.
Proper ventilation is required
when operation your tractor
inside a building or enclosed
area. Remember that exhaust
fumes can be deadly.
Never start your tractors en-
gine while standing on the
ground. This can prevent un-
expec t ed acc i dents from
happening.

Using starting fluid or ether
to s tar t y our t rac t or wi ll
cause damage and void your
tractors warranty.
To avoid damage to the start-
er and battery you should
never contin u ously star t
your tractor for more than 10
seconds at a time.
IMPORTANT
During the parking brake en-
gaged, the parking brake lamp
on the gauge board illuminates.
When releasing it, the parking
brake lamp is turned off.
NOTE
Make sure that the parking
brake pedals are fully de-
pressed before pulling the
parking brake lever up.
