2. First connect two PARALLEL I/O ①”terminals on each control panels with the special parallel
connection cable and tighten the plug (Fig. 3).
3. Second, securely plug the connector plugs of the parallel cable into the connector
receptacles marked PARALLEL OUTPUT located on the control panels (Fig.4).
4. Connect the ground terminals of the parallel cable to the ground terminals of each of the two
generators. (Fig. 4)

Note: Ground the generators (Fig. 5). Both generators must be placed on a hard and level
surface.
5. Start both generators and confirm that both green "RUN" lights are illuminated. The Smart
throttle system may be used as long as the Smart throttle setting of both generators is the same.
The starting procedure is same as the normal starting procedure. (See STARTING THE
GENERATOR on page 13 in this manual)
(1) Make sure two PARALLEL I/O terminals on either control panel have been connected securely
with the connection cable.
(2) Determine that the parallel cable has been connected to the PARALLEL OUTPUT terminals on
each generator control panel.
6. Securely plug the electrical appliance plug into parallel cable receptacle and switch on the
electrical appliance power supply.
