In toasting mode, adjust shade by rotating knob, then select and adjust number of slices.
Press START to preheat. A chime sounds when the desired temperature is reached and timer counts down.
Chime indicates preheat completion. Place food, close door, adjust time if needed, and start cooking cycle.
