INSTALLER: FINAL CHECK LIST
PLACEMENT OF COMPACTOR
cl 1.
Compactor placed in convenient location.
0 2. Adequate space allowed for full drawer opening.
cl 3.
Built-in conversion and installation completed:
a. Properly positioned - Level, Aligned and Square with cabinet opening.
b. Unit snugly positioned in cabinet using leveling legs.

A minimum l/4” clearance MUST BE MAINTAINED between compactor top and
counter top for service accessibility. (See Fig. 2).
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
cl 1. Properly fused, 115 volt, 60 hertz branch circuit of 15 ampere capacity.

Compactor properly grounded. (3-Prong grounded receptacle).
3. All connections in conformance with local electrical code.
OPERATIONAL CHECK
Cl 1.
Fully open then close drawer to check drawer operation.

Check compacting cycles.
a.
With drawer fully closed, turn key to “start” and allow compactor to run one full
cycle (ram goes down, back up, then stops).
b.
Turn key to “start” a second time, wait approx. 5 seconds then turn key to “stop/
lock” position (ram should stop).

Turn key to first position. (ram should return to “up” position and stop).
Check charcoal air filter unit:
a.
With drawer fully closed, push charcoal air filter switch on.
THANK YOU INSTALLER:
1. Complete Installation Check List.
2. Leave all literature (Incls. Check List) for customer.
3. Notify dealer that electrical work is completed.
