Before using the first time
Check that installationsteps 14-16
were completed.
The hot waterdispenser can be
permanentlydamaged ifthese steps
are notfollowed.
Temperature control
The watertemperatureis
thermostaticallycontrolled,it can be
adjusted from "Off" to approximately
190°F (88°C).
To raiseor lower the temperature,
turnthe TemperatureControl. The
"Max" setting is recommendedfor
best performance. However, under
certainconditions,it is possible for
the water to boil when the
Temperature Controlis sat at "Max."
If you see any vapor or hear boiling,
turn Temperature Control to lower
temperature as necessary.
Dispensing hot water
Push down and turn the On/Off Cap
clockwise and hold until desired
amount of hot water isobtained. You
can control the flow of water by how
far youturn the cap. For maximum
flow, turn cap untilitstops.Release
the On/Off Cap toturnoff water.
Hot water dispenser uses
Regardless ofwhat food you are
preparing,you'll appreciatethe

allows you to draw the amount of hot
water you require[up to 2 quarts
(14.8 liters) at one time]. It eliminates
the need to heat a full teakettlefor a
cup ofhot water.

coffee soupor bouillon frosting mix
tea mashed potatoes
hot chocolate instantcereal
Cooking shortcuts
190°F (88°C) water will give you a fast start for any foodyou cook that requires
boilingwater suchas:
packaged dinners dried soup hot cereals
fresh or frozen meat cooked in pastaand rice
vegetables liquid boilingeggs
