Your KitchenAid Microwave Oven might be causing interference due to its proximity to the receiver. Try moving the receiver away from the microwave oven or adjusting the radio or TV antenna. Also, ensure the microwave oven door and sealing surfaces are clean. The frequency of some 2.4 GHz-based cordless phones and home wireless networks may experience static or noise while the microwave oven is on. If your KitchenAid Microwave Oven isn't operating, check the household fuse or circuit breaker and replace the fuse or reset the breaker if needed. Try heating 1 cup (250 mL) of cold water for 2 minutes at 100% cooking power to test the magnetron. Also, ensure the door is firmly closed and remove any packaging spacers attached to the inside of the door. Verify that the control is set properly, Control Lock is off, and Demo mode (if applicable) is off.
