Instructions for use
• Firstly, you will need to plug the Slam into the mains using the supplied power adaptor. Make sure the
mains plug is connected to the DC 5 V input (7)
• Alternatively, the Slam can be powered by 3 x C size batteries. Slide open the battery door and insert
the batteries, observing the correct polarity, then re-fit the battery door
• Please make sure the DC/BATT switch (11) is in the correct position depending on whether you wish
to use mains or battery power
• When you have finished using the Slam in battery mode, ensure you slide the switch to DC power,
otherwise the batteries will drain when not in use
Note: Please use only non-rechargeable C size batteries. Rechargeable C size batteries may not provide
a high enough voltage to power the Slam. Also, they cannot be recharged by the Slam.
