This document describes the Klarstein Vinamour 29D Barossa 29D wine cooler, a freestanding appliance designed for storing wine.
Function Description
The Klarstein Vinamour 29D Barossa 29D is a wine cooler designed to store wine at optimal temperatures. It features two temperature zones, allowing for different types of wine to be stored simultaneously. The appliance includes shelves for organizing bottles and a control panel for adjusting settings. It is equipped with an LED display to show the current temperature and an internal LED light for illumination. The door is reversible, allowing for flexible installation.

Usage Features
The wine cooler offers a user-friendly control panel with several functions:
- ON/OFF: Press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power on/off or switch to standby mode. Press again for 3 seconds to switch the appliance back on.
- Light: Press the button to turn the internal LED light on or off. The light does not work in standby mode.
- Zone Switch: Press to switch between the upper and lower temperature zones. The LED display will flash multiple times, indicating the selected zone. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the temperature.
- UP/DOWN Temperature Adjustment: Press the UP or DOWN button once, and the LED display will flash, showing the current set temperature. Continue pressing to adjust the temperature; each time you press the button, the temperature will increase/decrease by 1°C. If no activity is detected for 5 seconds, the new set temperature will be saved, and the LED display will return to showing the current internal temperature.
- Child Lock (Combination Key): Press and hold both UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to lock/unlock the control panel.
- Fahrenheit/Celsius Display Interchange: Press the °C/°F button to switch the temperature display between Fahrenheit and Celsius.
- Alarm Sound: If a system malfunction occurs and an alarm sounds, press any key on the control panel to cancel the alarm sound.
- Temperature Sensor Failure: If the temperature sensor fails, an error code ("E1" for open circuit, "E2" for short circuit) will be displayed.
- Wine Storage: The appliance is equipped with sufficient independent shelving to allow your collection of wine to steadily grow. Each shelf has a loading capacity of 29 bottles (standard Bordeaux with 750ml). Loading capacity may vary depending on the arrangement of bottles and different bottle sizes.
- Recommended Storage Temperatures:
- Red wine: 15-18°C
- White wine: 9-14°C
- Rosé wine: 10-11°C
- Champagne & sparkling wine: 5-8°C
- Installation: The appliance should be placed on a flat, firm, and dry surface, away from direct sunlight or rain. Do not tilt the appliance more than 45° during movement. Allow at least 1 hour after installation before powering on.
- Door Reversal: The door hinge can be reversed from right to left, providing flexibility for placement. Instructions for this process are detailed in the manual.
Maintenance Features
- Cleaning:
- Disconnect the appliance from the power source before cleaning.
- Clean the appliance with a soft cloth or sponge and water.
- Do not use organic solvents, alkaline detergents, boiling water, washing powder, or acidic liquids.
- Do not flush the compartment of the appliance.
- The items shown below will damage the surface of the wine cooler: alkaline detergents, organic solvents, brushes, and boiling water.
- Power Cut: Most power cuts can be resolved within a short time. To protect your wines during a power cut, avoid opening the door as much as possible. During longer power cuts, take the necessary measures to protect your wine.
- Out of Service for Long Time: Remove all bottles from the appliance, unplug it, thoroughly clean the inside and outside, and store the appliance safely and properly. If the appliance is disconnected or if there is a power cut, wait at least five minutes before re-starting.
- Moving the Appliance:
- Cut off the power supply and unplug the appliance.
- Remove all bottles from the appliance.
- When moving the appliance, do not turn it more than 45°.
- Troubleshooting: The manual provides a comprehensive troubleshooting guide for common issues such as noise, insufficient cooling, unpleasant smells, condensation, and lighting problems, along with possible causes and suggested solutions. For example, if the door seal is not tight, it might be stiff or partially distorted; heating it with a hairdryer or hot towel can soften it. If the appliance does not cool sufficiently, check the temperature setting and ensure it's not exposed to sunlight or heat.
