Piping
The piping on the suction side of the pump should be the same size or larger than the output.
We advise you to install a valve on the pump suction and on the return line so that the
pump can be insulated during maintenance
.
4. Valves and fittings
Do not install elbows at 90 degrees directly in the pump entrance. Elbows should not be at
least 250mm far in and out.
The joints should be tight. The diameter of the suction line must be equal to or larger than the
diameter of the output line.
Be sure to install control valves when plumbing in parallel with another pump. This helps
prevent the reverse rotation of the stack and engine.
