Place the mower on a firm level
surface. Stand behind the mower
so that you can place one foot
on the rollers (Fig. D, Pos. 9).
Loosen the two setting screws
(Fig. D, Pos. 10). You can now
use both hands to set the cutting
height with the setting handles
(Fig. D, Pos. 11).

Make sure that the cutting height
marking arrows (Fig. E, Pos. 12)
show the same height on the
scale on both sides.
Now tighten the setting screws
(Fig. E, Pos. 10). The mower
must be set so that the bottom
blade does not come into con-
tact with the ground where there
is any unevenness.

Attention! Never use the
mower near people,
especially children, or animals.
The user is responsible for all
injuries.
Before using the mower, always
check the nuts, bolts and work-
ing tools for wear or damage.
Replace worn or damaged
blades in sets.
Always make sure you have
a clear view when using the
mower.
When mowing, wear proper
shoes with non-slip gripping
soles and long trousers.
Before using the mower, check
the area you want to cut and
remove any stones, pieces of
wood, wire and similar objects.
The blades can catapult objects
like this at great speed.
If the blades or the mower hit
any solid object or obstruction,
have the mower examined by
an expert.
2. Setting the cutting height
Note:
Make sure that the groove in
the drilled hole (Fig. C,
Pos. 6) and the locking tab
of the handle bolt (Fig. C,
Pos. 7) meet.

Warning! Do not use
excessive force. First
ensure that the recess in the
handle and the lug of the bolt
are in alignment and then fix
together.
2. Now attach the middle and
top sections of the guide
handle using the bolts and
wing nuts provided (Fig. A).
The hand mowers can cut grass

If you want a well-looked after
lawn, the grass must always be
kept shorter.
At the beginning of the cutting
period, and with new lawns,
select a relatively high cutting
height and gradually reduce this
each time you mow the lawn.
If you want to have a well-mani-
cured lawn, set the cutting
height to approx. 2 cm. Cut the
grass every week if possible.
Frequent cutting forces the
growth into the cut stalk and
makes it resistant.
If possible, always cut the grass
when it is relatively dry.
To obtain a clear pattern, push
the mower in straight lines at an
even walking pace. The cutting
paths should overlap by a few
centimetres to avoid leaving
strips of grass.

Attention! Be careful!
The rotating blade roller
can cause injuries !
Always keep the safety distance
between the user and blade
roller shown by the push bar.
Take extra care when mowing
on embankments and slopes:
make sure you are on firm
ground and always wear shoes
with non-slip gripping soles and
long trousers. Always mow
across a slope.
Take special care when moving
backwards and when pulling the
mower. Danger of stumbling!
Never place your hands or feet
on or underneath moving parts.
