If the motor of your Kobalt Air Compressor won't run, here's what you can do: 1. If the tank pressure is too high, the motor will start automatically when the pressure drops. 2. Replace any blown fuses or reset tripped circuit breakers, ensuring you use the correct type and check for low voltage. Consider using a dedicated circuit. 3. Clean or replace the check valve if it's stuck open. 4. Ensure the extension cord has the correct gauge (18 AWG) and isn't excessively long (72 ft). 5. Turn off the compressor, unplug it, and allow the motor to cool down if the thermal overload protection has tripped. Plug it back in after cooling.
